#ProPlantTips for Care:
The Autumn Splendor Buckeye deserves to be spoiled and you can do so by planting in full sun to partial shade in rich organic well-drained soil. They prefer consistent moisture and do not like to dry out or endure drought. Provide a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch around their root zone to hold in soil moisture and insulate the roots.
It is best to prune this tree after flowering to enjoy the flowers first, but major limb pruning should be done when the tree is dormant. Autumn Splendor Buckeye is not bothered by insects or diseases and is resistant to leaf scorch and urban environments.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Well-Drained Rich Soil
- Like Higher Moisture & Average Moisture Conditions
- Prune After Flowering
