Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Professor Einstein Daffodil with a Deep Orange Trumpet

  • Large Cup Daffodil
  • Fragrant
  • Pristine Color
  • Heirloom Variety Introduced in 1946

There's nothing greater than a Large Cupped-Daffodil with pristine colors and a well-formed perianth. By that standard, the Professor Einstein Daffodil is one of the greatest daffodils a gardener can find. And it's true! With pure-white petals and a blazing orange corona, this plant is worthy of a Nobel Prize.

The Professor Einstein Daffodil was introduced in 1946 and hasn't ebbed in popularity since then. Its claim-to-fame includes round, even petals with a delicate ruffle. Its snow-white perianth sets off a wide and riveting-orange trumpet that hosts its pleasant golden stamen. As a Large Cupped Daffodil, Professor Einstein's trumpet isn't long, but it sure does stand out. And with compact frills and a tight throat, it comes close to daffodil-perfection.

The sight of a mass planting of Professor Einstein Daffodils will make you gasp with glee. A sea of these daffodils is one of the most stunning and graphic spring plantings a gardener can grow. And as a mid-spring bloom, the Professor Einstein Daffodil will surely be a crescendo of excitement in your yard.

These versatile daffodils grow well in partial sun and full sun. We suggest an area that has some shade to keep the deep orange corona from washing out. Try planting yours beneath your favorite tree or around your favorite garden bench where you sit and ponder the mysteries of physics.

When you plan your fall planting, be sure to include some Professor Einstein Daffodils, and give them plenty of space to clump and fill in over time.

It doesn't take a genius to see just how lovely the Professor Einstein Daffodil is. This sweet beauty adds up to one smart choice for mid-spring blooms. In fact, this daffodil multiplies! Order yours now.

We will ship your bulbs based on the correct planting time for your area.
