Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

h so pretty and lively, the Yellow Cocotte Asiatic Lily (Lilium 'Yellow Cocotte') is a saturated golden-yellow bloom with burgundy edged petals that are barely there but are a showy extra special touch to the glowing sunshine flowers!

Standing tall on stout stems, the multiple buds open over weeks and shine in the summer garden border! The single stem is fringed in strap-like green leaves to create the perfect backdrop for your blooms. Lilies are fantastic cut flowers! Just one stem is a bouquet in-and-of-itself! Plant groupings so you can harvest entire stems for your bouquets and not deprive the bees and butterflies of any nectar.

Yellow Cocotte Lily is a hardy perennial bulb throughout USDA planting zones 3-10 and are spring-planted summer-flowering ornamentals. The bulbs are scale bulbs and each side scale can become a baby Lily, creating slowly spreading groupings with more and more flowering stems each year, getting bigger and better as time passes!

Landscape Application:

Yellow Cocotte is perfect for adding warmth and cheerful sunshine yellow hues to your Cottage borders, front garden beds and mailbox gardens, as well as brightening up a mixed Perennial garden! In rows, groupings, or drifts, these space-saving plants only spread less than a foot wide, so have fun and tuck them into your gardens for a burst of summer color!

Plant Yellow Cocotte among Ornamental grasses, Liatris, Coreopsis, Daisies, and Roses for a beautiful display indoors or out! They of course also go beautifully with other Lilies! They also make cheerful gifts for all occasions!

Asiatic Lily blooms are large sunny blossoms that shine in the sun! Plant as edging or focal points among Rock gardens or among any wildflower and Pollinator garden. Plant them in rows or groupings to maximize their brilliant color! These are also fantastically sized for pots and planters! Any sunny porch or balcony can enjoy these as stand-alone specimen groupings or as thrillers and focal points among mixed containers.

  • Single Stem Fringed In Strap-Like Green Leaves
  • Long-Lasting Display In Summer - Multiple Buds Per Stem
  • Gorgeous In Bouquets & Attract Pollinators
  • Garden Specimens, Tall Focal Points & Container Thrillers

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Lilium asiatica hybrid bulbs grow best in the full sun, preferring morning sun and requiring a touch of afternoon part shade in the hotter climates. Allow at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day for optimum results.

Plant Lily bulbs up to 8 inches deep in well-draining but moist soil with average fertility. Not particular on soil type, any well-drained medium that has a good amount of humus and organic material added will help hold the moisture that these bulbs enjoy.

Water well while plants are young and consistently during the heat of summer to have the best blooms and the longest bloom time. Once established, they will only need supplemental watering throughout the summer's heat and in times of prolonged drought.

Apply a deep layer of mulch over the soil's surface to ensure moisture consistency and to also insulate the root system from both heat and cold. In some locations, you will need to stake your Lily stems to help them not get blown over when in full bloom or in windy locations.

Deadhead as soon as the flowers have faded, but keep your foliage until after frost to make food for the bulb, then cut back in autumn. Otherwise, these are a carefree and easy-to-grow species of Lily! Every 3-5 years, you can divide the bulb clumps and spread the joy throughout your landscape.

  • Full Sun Is Best (Afternoon Shade In Hot Climates)
  • Well-Drained Moderately Moist Soil
  • Perennial Bulb
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Back After Frost
  • Plant In Spring 8-Inches Deep 5-10 Inches Apart
