Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 3-8
The Japanese White Spirea (Spiraea albiflora) is a prolific bloomer native to Japan, that fills in that garden gap when other blooms have come and come, yet it's too early for fall color! This lovely shrub offers refined blooms that are fragrant and have a unique foamy, frothy appearance!
Spirea blooms are a microcosm of refined beauty. From afar, the intricate and fluffy stamen give the Japanese White Spirea a snowy appearance. Each cluster grows at the end of a branch and are radiant pure white. One of the more charming aspects of these crowds of blooms is that they have a slightly flattened face, perfect as landing pads for butterflies and beneficial pollinators! When admired up-close, you will notice each flower is a balanced five petals and a host of expressive stamen flare outward with a round tip, creating a fizzy sparkling water effect.
These festive clusters of flowers are a real treat for bees and butterflies. They will dance about these lovely sweet-scented flowers for weeks. When the first round of blooms finishes, a quick deadhead will reward you with another round of fresh new blooms later in summer into fall. When autumn arrives, you can anticipate added interest as your Japanese White Spirea's leaves soften in color to a lovely coppery tone.
Planting and Application:
Plant this deciduous and compact shrub in your mixed perennial border to extend the flower season. Or use it to define the edges of your landscape, easing the transition between lawn and garden with dreamy white blooms and deep green, neatly mounded dwarf shrubs. Because of its easy-going nature, the Japanese White Spirea makes a great foundation planting or informal hedge with added interest. Perfect accents for any landscape, Cottage borders and Pollinator gardens gain light and airy touches, while Moon Gardens just glow!
Just the right size for planters and containers to add romantic fluffy blossoms to your porch and patio! Mix among the arching stems of Vanhouttei Spirea, with the classic white mopheads of Hydrangea for a more southern charm effect, or encircle your favorite white Roses for a gorgeous glowing spectacle!
