To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The Shiny Dancer® Viburnum (Viburnum x 'NCVX1') is a beautiful compact plant that is known for its waxy, shiny, leaves that are deep green and heavily veined. Spring features lovely reddish new growth that's delightfully shiny, wide and showy, they are accented by red stems! Welcome fall with burgundy-tinged leaves in the autumn! Your Viburnum plant will bloom in mid-spring with small white flowers that just complete this plant. Viburnum flowering plants are loved by many gardeners.
In spring, your shrub will be adorned with darling white button buds that open to flat-topped clusters of gorgeous blooms that pollinators and butterflies adore! The summer foliage can also take on some burgundy overtones for a lovely effect! This easy-to-grow, adaptable ornamental features persistent dark red fruit when planted among other Viburnum varieties.
Extremely resistant to deer, you won't need to worry about them munching on the beautiful leaves! The Shiny Dancer® Viburnum grows best in the warmer USDA growing zones 6-8. In many of those climates, these gorgeous leaves are semi-evergreen through mild winter! Growing to a neat rounded 3-5 feet mature height and width, you and your wildlife, songbirds and pollinators will all appreciate these shrubs!

This particular Viburnum can grow from about 3 to 5 feet tall and wide. This means they can be a gorgeous plant to place on your porch or used as a great border. Excellent hedges and backdrops, anything planted before them become a part of the glossy display! Plant this Viburnum variety is an easy plant to care for! Grow this gorgeous plant with minimal effort - it's a win-win! Your new Shiny Dancer® Viburnum needs either full sun or part sun, which means at least 4-6 hours of sunlight a day. Its leaves are truly the star when the light hits them–they almost look fake! Like other shrubs, water your Viburnum regularly so the soil is always moist. They love well-drained soil so their roots don't drown.
Wait until after the flowers are finished to correct any branching. Please plan for their eventual mature height and width to avoid pruning for size control. They flower on last year's growth, so don't delay too long to prune crossing or broken branches. Develop a pruning plan and avoid taking off too much ... you'd hate to risk losing the gorgeous berries for the year. Instead, Renewal prune every 3 - 4 years by removing the oldest fattest stems to the ground and encouraging new growth still enjoy the berries.
