Description
The svelte Grandiflora Fragrant Plum Rose (Rose 'AROplumi') offers very long, elegant buds that open to violet-blue with mysterious smoking plum-purple toward the edges. These lovely lavender-mauve-blended double blooms make exceptional cut flowers with up to 30 petals apiece. More than enough to attract butterflies and bees in droves!
You might think Fragrant Plum is a Grandiflora Rose, with its long, sturdy stems and large blooms. But this lavender blushing purple selection is a vigorous, reblooming Grandiflora that grows into a lush Rose bush with deep green foliage! As you might imagine, Fragrant Plum offers a sweet, intense fruity fragrance to perfume your garden or indoor arrangements. You'll have armloads to enjoy from late spring to fall, as the bloom production is high.
Grandifloras combines the vigor and blooming ability of Floribundas with the beautiful blooms and long stems of Hybrid Teas. Our high-quality Fragrant Plum Grandiflora Rose bushes for sale at NatureHills.com are stunningly beautiful in both appearance and scent! Planting and Application:
Stunning and fragrant specimens, stand-out accents, and sun garden landscape features, so try creating a focal point planting in your garden by clustering these in a grouping of 3 or more for a stand-out accent! Create garden vignettes by planting a curved row of these impressive shrubs around an urn, garden seating or sculptures!
Mix the cool tones with other purple-flowering Roses for a garden fit for royalty! Be inspired by the dynamic hues of this prolific modern cultivar. Anywhere you plant Fragrant Plum Roses becomes a Cutting Garden. In the vase, you'll remove the lowest leaves below the water line. Leave the foliage near the top to softly accent the showy blooms. As a bonus, you'll encourage more flushes of blooms if you cut the flowers regularly!
Keep these tall, narrow bushes in outdoor pots on your balcony or patio. Growing 3-4 feet in height and width, these nice rounded shrubs are fantastic thrillers to use around your sunny gardens, seating, and balcony container gardens!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Grandiflora Roses are easy to grow in full sun with at least six hours of sunlight. They do need well-drained soil, so create a raised bed or planting mound if your soil stays soggy after rainfall. Ensuring the soil is enriched and well-drained to enjoy the best performance and good air circulation is important. If you have heavy, wet soil, simply add additional soil to create an elevated planting mound.
Provide consistent supplemental water during flowering, and mulch around the plant without letting it touch the stems. Feed them high-quality Rose fertilizer as directed on the label. In autumn, rake, and bag up fallen leaf litter as yard waste. Roses appreciate a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch year-round. Growing Grandiflora Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall for best overwintering.
Don't forget the Nature Hills Root Booster, to give this fragrant Rose life-long support when used during planting. In early spring, start fresh by pruning all the canes down to six inches in early spring, cutting at a 45-degree angle above a nice, fat bud.
