Description
Incredible Fragrant Cloud Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'TANellis') offers captivating deep coral red-orange blooms that stay vibrant and rebloom continuously. Oversized, double blooms are high-centered and well-shaped and feature up to 30 petals apiece.
Hybridized in 1968 by Matius Tantau, Jr. of Germany, Fragrant Cloud Rose bush was bred from 'Prima Ballerina' and was voted into the Rose Hall of Fame for its intoxicating scent and stylish hue. This upright cultivar is very quick to rebloom against a backdrop of rich, glossy, dark green leaves. Add Fragrant Cloud Rose for color and scent in a place you'll be able to appreciate it. This engaging plant turns heads in a delightful summer display.
But it's the marvelous Fragrant Cloud Hybrid Tea Rose perfume that earns it top reviews. People just like you can count on the heady citrusy-spicy-sweetness in cut arrangements and in the garden from USDA growing zones 6 - 9. Arrange them in your vase with bare lower stems. Remove the lower leaves below the water line, but keep a few sprays near the blooms for a soft filler. A single bloom will add a fabulous damask-tangerine fragrance anywhere you place it!
Planting and Application:
Use one as a specimen plant to study by your seating areas where the perfume will help chase away the hectic day. Fragrant Cloud Roses can be grown in containers, so it's easy to decorate your patio with lavish coral-red blooms! So even seating and garden benches on porches, patios and balconies can all enjoy these luscious blooms!
Fragrant Cloud is ideal by your front door in large planters or on either side of your sunny front door or astride the entrance to a destination pathway! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Fragrant Cloud Rose needs at least six hours of sunlight a day to encourage reblooming flushes and plant in a location with enriched, well-drained soil and good air circulation, and Fragrant Cloud Rose bush is no exception! Choose your planting site with care and you'll reap the rewards with their heavenly scent! Provide supplemental water on a regular basis. Provide 3-4 inches of arborist mulch over the top of the root system to keep the mulch pulled back away from the stems. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall for best overwintering.
Use Nature Hills Root Booster in the planting hole as a symbiotic formula works to support the tiny feeder roots over the whole life of your Rose bush. For the longest, sturdiest stems, fertilize in spring with a Rose formula and reapply according to the directions.
