Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Bouncing off each other's tones, the broody Queen of the Night Tulip and the warm and soft rich pink Don Menton Tulip glow in the sunny garden!

The strong stems and classic Tulip shape are backed by a vase-shaped clump of soft green foliage throughout your sunny landscape! Fast-growing and loving the full sun, these lovely Tulips radiate each spring!

Queen of the Night and Don Menton Tulips are hardy fall-planted bulbs like Tulips with upright bell-shaped blooms, that flower throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 7 and grow to a graceful clump about 22-26 inches tall and wide.

Planting and Application:

The Park Avenue Tulip Blend brings high-end color impact to your spring beds and borders. Your Cottage garden, mixed perennial borders, and spring Rock gardens set the stage for these glamorous. Planting Tulips and other ephemerals among larger plants allows them to shine in the spring then take shelter beneath the larger plants later emerging foliage that shades them from the summer sun!

These Tulips are a wonderful choice to force indoors in the winter or very early spring to chase away the snow! Pick up a fancy cloche, shallow dish of moss, or a special forcing vase to enjoy these blooms in the winter to break up the dreary indoor landscape! Try forcing your bulbs indoors in a pretty shallow tray, or mixed with other perennial fall-planted bulbs in the late winter and enjoy a pretty table centerpiece to welcome spring vibes in the middle of winter!

Wonderful gift plants and opulent vase arrangement additions, the Park Avenue Tulip Blend adds high-end color to your interiorscapes and landscapes alike! Even container gardens and mixed planters on your porch for a seasonal spring planter on either side of your front door or around your back patio where you can enjoy their sweet fragrance nearby.

  • Dark Maroon & Radiant Peachy Pink Tulip Blend
  • Upright Clumps of Strappy Green Foliage
  • Bees, Butterflies & Sweetly Scented Cut Flower Bouquets
  • Container Gardens
  • Beds & Borders, Rows & Groupings

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Tulips do their very best in a well-drained location in full to partial sun. Tulips do not like continuously wet soil so water newly planted bulbs very well and you shouldn't have to water again unless it gets dry that fall, or during summers when you have extensive heat and drought. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch to hold in soil moisture more consistently and to insulate the perennial bulbs.

Deadhead the flower heads once they fade but let the foliage remain to make food for the bulbs. Trim away the leaves and remove them from the area once they turn yellow. Apply an early spring application of bulb food.

Tips on Planting Tulip Bulbs

Plant Tulip Bulbs in the fall about 6 to 8 weeks before a hard freeze (or anytime in the autumn when the ground is still workable.). Place the perennial bulbs in a hole with the pointy end upward and at least 8 inches deep (about 3x the length of the bulb), spaced about 4-6 inches apart.

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade Outdoors & Indirect Sun Indoors
  • Bulbs Need Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
  • Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune After Foliage Yellows
  • Fall-Planted Perennial Spring Flowering Bulbs

Live the American dream with the show-stopping Park Avenue Tulip Blend shine in the spring landscape! Order yours today and NatureHills.com will hold your perennial bulbs until the proper planting time for your growing zone!
