To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

If you are a Lilac lover, then you have already heard of Beauty of Moscow (Syringa vulgaris 'Krasavitsa Moskvy'). If you are new to the world of Lilacs, then this is a great place to start. You won't find a commercially available Lilac with bigger flowers or a more powerful perfume! It is difficult to understand how beautiful the Beauty of Moscow flower heads are until you see them in person. The buds are a soft combo of pink and purple that open to nearly white.
They open at different times along the stem and the mix of purple, pink and white against the heart-shaped green leaves is really stunning. The large panicles droop and hang heavy all over the shrub that fills out densely with heart-shaped foliage. The Beauty of Moscow Lilac blooms best in full sun and is easily grown in average, medium moist, well-drained soil. It will grow up to 12 feet in height with an 8-foot spread. Provide moderate moisture consistently all growing season, but these are adaptable to low moisture conditions once fully established. Apply supplemental water during times of extended drought. Mulch helps your plants stay cool and moist.
The Beauty of Moscow Lilac is very hardy and weather resistant, disease and deer-resistant so you'll be saved the time and trouble of dealing with costly measures to keep it safe from harm. If you live with deer in your area, apply repellent spray on planting day. Deer are hungry and curious, and you want to train them to leave your plants alone.
Air circulation is essential for Lilacs, so find a breezy place for them to perform at their best. It's best to avoid low spots or heavily enclosed locations that trap airflow.
