This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Radiant rosy-red color, Indy Rhapsody Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Indy Rhapsody') are gleaming trumpets of rose-red with white ruffled edges, plus sporting a bright green throat! These petals shimmer and sparkle in the sun! These are gorgeous landing pads for bees and butterflies and even a few curious Hummingbirds!

These blooms glow when set against a superb backdrop of deep-green grassy foliage! These add luminous color and texture to your garden! The fountains of foliage look great even when this perennial isn't in bloom!

Incredibly cold and heat tolerant, these Diploid herbaceous perennials are very easy to grow throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9. Growing just 20 inches tall at maturity and spreads into dense clumps 18-24 inches wide!

Planting and Application:

The radiant petals add beauty to borders, beds and containers, and even your indoor floral bouquets! Daylilies are iconic border plants and sun-worshiping perennials. Create beauty by using Daylilies in graceful rows, as fringy edging in garden borders to defining edges, and gracefully partitions along pathways! They even act as seasonal facer plants for the fronts of evergreen hedges and shrubs that may be getting a bit 'leggy'

Adding ruffles and fringe to Pollinator and Perennial gardens, adding lush color to Cottage gardens, and pretty up a foundation planting. Ring seating areas, birdbaths, outdoor sculptures, and urns with glowing blooms. Or skirting trees, pergolas, and gazebos with colorful greenery at their base.

But Daylilies have a tough side too! Indy Rhapsody is adept for use in Rock Gardens and mass plantings, for both commercial and residential sites, they're almost plant-them-and-forget-them flowering ornamentals!

These hardy and highly-adaptable perennials are ideal for drought-stricken Xeric sites, as erosion control on slopes, and save you from dealing with hard-to-mow hillsides! They're even on many fire-wise landscaping lists for your defensible plan. This is because of how drought-tolerant, salt-resistant, deer and rabbit-resistant, and pest and disease free these plants are!

No wonder they're called the 'perfect perennial'!

Container-ready size, Indy Rhapsody is a vibrant thriller and spiller! Pot them up on your porch or patio, deck out the poolside seating area, or spruce up your balcony and window boxes with these versatile, space-saving sunlovers!

  • Glowing Rose-Red With White Edged Blooms!
  • Handsome Green Grassy Foliage
  • Clumping Upright Growth & Long Bloom Time
  • Pollinators Galore!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Because Daylilies are so stinking easy to grow, you'll want one in every sunny planting bed! They produce blooms best in the full sun and only need well-drained soil to thrive. Moderate moisture once established and yearly fertilization, there’s not much more to it! In the harshest conditions, or even the average garden bed, all plants appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch to insulate their roots, enrich the soil, and retain moisture.

After the bloom has finished, Deadhead the old flower stems as short as possible down to the ground for an occasional second round of blooms later in summer or fall. In fall after frost, it is recommended you remove the leaves to the ground to avoid diseases and rust issues overwintering and spreading next year. Divide your clumps every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.

  • Full Sun For The Most Blooms
  • Moderate Moisture Needs - Low Once Established
  • Deadhead Regularly, Prune Late Fall & Divide Every 3-5 Years
  • Cold Hardy, Xeric, Fire-Wise & Seldom Bothered By Deer
  • Easy to Grow & Adaptable Plants

Order the vivacious Indy Rhapsody Daylily to your landscape plan this year and watch your garden take on a melody all its own! Get enough for your next project before they sell out at Nature Hills!
