Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Say it with us once. A-ga-pan-thus. If you aren't delighted by the plant just by the name, then wait until you see the blooms! Indigo Frost™ Agapanthus (Agapanthus x 'AMBIC001' PP25519) needs no opening act as it'll bring the house down all on its own.

Should this pretty perennial need a playbill, the reviews on the back would simply rave about the angelic colors, impressive compact shape, and its tendency to sporadically bloom throughout the summer!

The main attraction of this plant is the large bi color flowers it produces in the late spring and early summer. Each floret starts out white on the petal and ever so gently changes to purple as it nears the throat. Now times that by twenty or thirty and you've got an Indigo Frost for sure.

If you manage to look past those amazing blooms, you'll find that they shoot up from a bed of green strap like foliage. It gives Indigo Frost a lovely looking texture.

One of these deciduous flower's specialties is bouquets. The long stems make them fantastic additions to bunches and the colors are simply the icing on the cake! Cut a few and keep them in a vase in your kitchen or dining room!

You and your guests won't be the only ones loving Ingido Frost. Butterflies will come from near and far to check these beauties out. Because of these blooms tubular shape, you might have the privilege of hosting a hummingbird or two as well!

While these blooms are a for sure thing come late spring and early summer, you'll often be surprised throughout the rest of the season as new blooms pop up without notice. This keeps the plant looking clean and fresh all season long.

Agapanthus is also known to be relatively unappetizing to deer and other curious wildlife. Plant it secure in the knowledge that only the most desperate deer will want to munch on Indigo Frost.

Add a little spice and splendor to your garden by planting an Indigo Frost Agapanthus or two. Order yours from our expert growers at Nature Hills Nursery today!

How to Use Indigo Frost Agapanthus in the Landscape

Perennial borders are simply incomplete without one or two of these accenting it! The shoots holding up its blooms create a stunning texture.

If you have a little more room, we have to suggest creating a mass planting out of Indigo Frost. You won't be disappointed!

The white and blue florets are also fantastic accents to already established flower beds! Plant it next to some yellows or reds to create an amazing contrast.

Have a rather drab looking corner of your siding? Use an Indigo Frost to brighten things up a bit. Foundation planting is a real agapanthus strength.

The uses don't have to stop in the garden though! Cut a few and bring them indoors to use as decorations throughout the summer. Its periodic blooming habit ensures that you'll always have a couple of blooms to choose from!

Try planting these as the centerpiece of containers on either side of an entryway. Surround them with draping plants that will give the edges of the containers some character and added texture.

#ProPlantTips for Care

If only all plants were as easy to take care of as Indigo Frost. This showstopper is no primadonna. It'll be perfectly happy as long as it's planted in full sun to part shade. Nope, it's not too picky at all about its sun requirements, although it'll be happier the more sun it gets!

When picking out the perfect spot, keep in mind the quality of the soil can make or break plant success. Well-drained soil is definitely the way to go in this case.

If you're feeling extra motivated in the spring, try adding some slow-release fertilizer to your Indigo Frost. This will help keep the flower power strong all season long, and then some!

It's always a good idea to consider mulching around the bottom of your plant. It helps keep the roots cool on the hot summer days which also helps conserve water! Not to mention it makes gardens look so prim and proper! Simply apply a layer of mulch starting about one inch from the base of the plant.

Adding a headliner to your garden has never been easier. Order an Indigo Frost Agapanthus to complete your garden projects from Nature Hills today!
