Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Got deer but want colorful spring flowering bulbs? You need the Deer Resistant Garden Blend (Chionodoxa luciliae, Narcissus 'Dutchmaster') of spring bulbs at Nature Hills Nursery! This absolutely cheerful combination of the blue daisy-like Glory of the Snow Chionodoxa, and tall, lemony yellow Dutchmaster Daffodils, will have you not missing the other more commonplace spring flowers!
Growing just 4-6 inches high and forming low carpets of Crocus-like greenery with their cheerful blue petals and white eyes, Chionodoxa form mounds that spread as wide as you let them over time! The Dutchmaster Daffodil grows up to 18 inches tall when in flower and has long strappy foliage that forms fountains of green, and grows wider into clusters, happily coming up among the mats of Glory of the Snow!
Both bulb plants politely naturalize and spread joy through your garden, this Deer Resistant bulb combo lights up landscapes throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 8. These perennial bulbs are easy to grow and are usually not disturbed by rabbits or squirrels either!
Planting and Application:
Create vivid carpets of blue in the spring with punctuations of bright yellow to enchant the bees and butterflies that are sure to visit your garden this year! The perfect edging accent for your Perennial and Cottage borders, happily cropping up throughout the Rock Garden, or along pathways and sidewalks for a splendid spectacle every year!
There's no need to go big, but who can resist large groupings, en mass plantings, and long rows of these two contrasting hues? But if you don't have the room, or want to fill your courtyards and container gardens with these lovelies, who are we to blame you?
Create showy planters and mixed containers around sunny porches and patios, create window boxes dripping in blue and yellow, or highlight your front stoop with potted spring delights! Use them anywhere in a sunny location without the worry that deer will come by and ruin the party!
- Bright Yellow Dutchmaster Daffodils & Blue Glory of the Snow Bulb Combo
- Naturalizing Green Foliage & Hardy Perennial Bulbs
- Fragrant & Showy - Great For Pollinators!
- Fantastic Combo of Low Growing & Tall Slender
- Edges, Bedding & Borders, Pathways, Mass Planting & Containers
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Choose a very well-drained full-sun location with moderate yet regular moisture access. Plant the Chionodoxa bulbs a couple of inches deep, but the Daffodil bulbs need to be planted deeper, preferring rich soil with plenty of drainage and a mulched top dressing.
Deadhead after the flowers fade, sometimes encouraging a rebloom, but leave the foliage to make food for the bulbs. Then once the leaves yellow, trim back and clean the area, topping everything with a layer of compost or mulch.
- Full Sun Perennial Bulb Plants
- Fast Growing in Fertile Well-Drained Soil
- Appreciates Mulched Beds & Regular Moisture
- Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Foliage When It Yellows
- Deer & Rabbit Seldom Bother These
Defy the deer and plant the Deer Resistant Garden Blend Bulb packet in your landscape this fall and enjoy bountiful blue and yellow flowers every spring! Hurry and reserve your quality perennial flowering bulbs today and NatureHills.com will ship them to your growing zone at the right planting time!
