Each bloom is a unique work of art! You and your guests will be amazed at the impeccable style. Bear witness to an ever-changing array of flashy colors! So if you are feeling creative, add the Chihuly® Floribunda Rose (Rosa 'WEKscemala') to your garden this season!
Dale Chihuly used molten glass to express his big, otherworldly ideas! His flowing, vibrant glass artwork is truly inspired, and so is this special hybridized Floribunda Rose from Tom Carruth! Every walk in your garden can be like visiting a museum! Cut sprays regularly for lovely indoor arrangements.
Be fascinated by the color play from the bright yellow petals that, like the versatile artwork of Chihuly himself, these Roses are streaked and touched here and there with warm apricots, dazzling orange and even deep red. At a distance, Chihuly® Rose reads as rich, warm yellow. But up close, the painterly blend becomes a living interpretation of the flowing glass pieces that are loved by so many.
Like the effective scaffolding that holds up a Chihuly glass installation, thick green foliage acts as a perfect support for the beautiful streaked petals.
Chihuly® foliage stays clean with very modern disease resistance to black spot and powdery mildew. Remarkably heat and humidity-tolerant, Chihuly® Floribunda Rose looks fantastic throughout USDA growing zones 6 to 10!

Likewise, just a single specimen in a garden bed or border, or elevated into a high-style planter are sure to make a statement as they shine their radiant faces in the sun!

This would be a perfect focal point in a Meditation Garden. Keep it in containers to decorate your balcony Yoga studio.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Floribunda Roses in full sun with at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. Please ensure the soil drains quickly after rain, Rose roots don't tolerate standing water. If you have heavy soil that stays soggy for a long time, improve your soil's drainage by elevating your Rose in a raised bed or keeping them in containers. Supply Chihuly® Roses with a consistent schedule of watering for best results. This is especially true for container-grown plants.
Dig your planting hole twice as wide as the roots, but no deeper. Don't forget the Nature Hills Root Booster at the time of planting, to give this fragrant Rose life-long support! Keep the soil level the same as we have grown in at the nursery. Feed your Roses specialty Rose fertilizer. Please follow the label directions for application rates and timing.
Mulch helps keep the root zone cool. Please add a three-inch layer around your plant, then pull it back away from touching the canes. In late November when your Roses have been exposed to killing frosts it is a great idea to mound the stems up with some additional mulch for overwintering (especially important in the colder zones). Always wait to prune Roses until spring when you pull the mulch away.
Bag and remove all leaf litter in fall. In early spring, prune each of the Rose canes down to 6 - 8 inches at a 45-degree angle just above a nice, fat bud. Check out more about Rose pruning Here, and about winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog!
