This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Live a luxurious life with the elegant grace of Boulevard® Bernadine Clematis (Clematis 'Evipo061' PP# 27,332) blooms from June through September. Grow this compact vine as a pristine vertical accent on your patio or balcony.
Huge blooms grow larger than your hand, and they keep coming through much of the season. Eight, iced lilac-blue sepals are precisely arranged around a bold pom-pom of white and red stamens.
This bushy, petite variety can be used "up close and personal". Take the time to really study the blooms...then relax and lose yourself in their astonishing geometric beauty.
Bernadine is an exceptional choice that was featured at London's famous Chelsea Flower Show. With a free-flowering nature, the blooms are borne on this year's growth.
Keep them in containers, or grow them in your borders. You'll be surprised how versatile these long-lived perennials are for landscape use.
As they grow, they'll require support for their twining leaf stems. That is...unless you want to grow them horizontally as an amazing groundcover!
Any way you choose to use them, they create a restful paradise. Their tiny footprint maximizes any size outdoor space.
Decorate your world with the special climbing Boulevard Bernadine Clematis starting this season. Order today!
How to Use Boulevard® Bernadine Clematis in the Landscape
Nature Hills offers so many plant choices that work beautifully together. Pair Boulevard Bernadine Clematis with other blue-toned blooming and evergreen plants for a modern Zen Garden.
Install several Bernadine Clematis along the edge of your garden beds. Wrap an impressive obelisk with some wire landscape fence and let it climb to cover it.
Gain year-round interest from hardscape trellis, towers or tuteurs. The vines will go dormant, but the shape of your garden objects will be a welcome sight in winter.
Plant them as a "Thriller" in an outdoor container with a sturdy support system. Or, consider using one or more in an oversized pot to "Spill" over the side.
These gorgeous flowers work so well with other choices. Dark-foliage shrubs like Tuxedo Weigela make a delightful contrast to Bernadine Clematis.
In a large landscape, use these charming plants to surprise and delight your visitors. Develop hidden garden moments just after the bend in a border; or at the end of a planned path.
They make masterful additions to Pollinator Gardens. Feel great about this showy nectar resource plant.
You can even use Bernadine Clematis as a low-lying layer scrambling through groundcovers. Add their plentiful flowers to Thorndale English Ivy or Ground Hog™ Aronia.
#ProPlantTips for Care
For the truest blue tones, give Bernadine a spot where the leaves will receive full sun. In shadier spots, Bernadine will become more purple.
Install your support system before you plant. The roots prefer not to be disturbed once they are in soil.
Keep the root zone cool and moist with partial shade. Apply a layer of mulch over the root zone, then pull it back away from touching the stems.
Clematis needs some time to get established in your landscape. Support the tiny feeder roots with Nature Hills Root Booster, a symbiotic formula that never "wears out."
Give water on a regular basis, and ensure the soil drains well afterward. Improve your drainage with a raised planting bed.
Early spring is when you'll prune this beautiful vine. This variety blooms on new growth, so cut back any dead tops that don't display new growth and clean up spent foliage at that time.
With a long-lasting display of very sophisticated blossoms, compact Boulevard Bernadine Clematis is a modern marvel. Place your order today, and get your place ready to shine!
