Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Waxy bunches of stars, the Atlantic Hyacinths (Hycanthus 'Atlantic) create magic wands of incredibly dark purple, tightly packed florets! If the saturated color doesn't stun you, then the incredible fragrance will! With the same ease of care, and low-maintenance towers of butterfly-friendly blooms that the family is known for!

Hyacinth bulbs may not be the earliest emerging spring ephemeral flowers, but they are the most dramatic! Heavenly fragranced and featuring large towers of blossoms, each bulb sends up at least one heavily festooned stem per year! Atlantic Hyacinths bridge the gap between Crocus and Tulips, when these giant wands of flowers rise up from the center of strappy rosettes of upright green each year!

Atlantic Hyacinth Bulbs are flowering perennial bulbs that are among the easiest to care for! Novice gardeners and busy landscapers both enjoy the plant-and-forget nature of these spring delights anywhere throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9!

Planting and Application:

You'll be glad you placed a few in your cutting garden for huge blossoms for your spring bouquets! Even better, Hyacinths are gift plants! You can force these vibrant purple blooms as winter décor in a dish or urn. For sunny container gardening, pot up among other spring bulbs in mixed planters for an otherworldly focal point! Their space-saving size looks magical when interspersed throughout your shrub beds, and your home's front landscaping!

They look incredible as a formal border and edging plant as well as a focal point of dramatic color among perennial gardens and country borders! Small and space-saving enough for pots and planters anywhere sunny as well as that narrow strip along the driveway or sidewalk, leading you along garden paths with enticing perfume! Mix among larger plants without the worry that these bulbs will overtake or become crowded.
