To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Pure White Blooms of the Bowl of Cream Peony

The Bowl of Cream Peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Bowl of Cream'), blooms in midseason with very large, bowl-shaped, double blossoms of pure white that have hidden golden stamens due to the sheer amount of ruffled inner petals. The flower width can be as large as 8 inches or more!
The beautiful, dark green foliage really makes the flowers of the Bowl of Cream Peony stand out, reaching a mature height of 2 to 3 feet. Strong stems support the big blooms. The blooms are long-lasting and are ideal for cutting, so pick them when in bud so you can enjoy them for a long time!
All of our peonies are widely adaptable to most soils across the country. They bloom in mid to late spring and have very large, colorful blooms that stand out in the spring garden.
Growing Peonies is really quite simply. They only ask for well drained soil, and a sunny location. They simply do not bloom well in the shade. Often thought of as a plant used on the farm or out in the country, they bring a little bit of that country feeling to your garden.
It is not uncommon to see peonies planted along the driveway or lane in a mass.
Peonies in general are super easy to grow. Plant the roots shallow in a sunny and well drained site. They love a mulched bed and look fantastic repeated across your perennial border or foundation. Peonies are very long lived and will reward you year after year with cut flowers with the most incredible fragrance you will never forget.
