To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The white-flocked leaves of the White Licorice (Helichrysum petiolare 'White Licorice') are sought-after annual container accents and spillers! These exhibit vigorous bushy, yet trailing growth and elegant silver-frosted foliage.
This plant will let you do a little to get a lot. Licorice plants are exceptionally easy to grow, requiring little fertilizer. The White Licorice has fine foliage and is a compact grower. There are no flowers unless White Licorice is grown in frost-free climates, then you will enjoy tiny white flowers.
While not an actual Licorice Root, the foliage does have a slight licorice scent in the sun, lending its common name! This plant will let you do a little to get a lot! Licorice plants are exceptionally easy to grow, requiring little fertilizer. The White Licorice has fine foliage and is a compact grower. Annual accents throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 8, and semi to fully evergreen perennial plants in USDA planting zones 9 to 11.
Planting and Application:
This plant is an excellent choice for hanging baskets, window boxes, or mixed containers as a filler and spiller element. Adding unique color accents to white, light green, lavender, pink and blue flowers! The cool silvery color shines and glistens in the sun. White Licorice is especially useful in mixed containers as it tends to grow outward which makes a planter or basket look larger and fuller!
These annuals can be perennials in hot climates, growing up to a foot tall and spreading as facer plants, silvery edging, and garden filler! Add to Moon Gardens, along sunny pathways, and anywhere you need a glint of sterling! Let them trail down retaining walls and throughout rockeries in the sun.

Growing in sun and part shade, these plants need excellent drainage and moderate, yet regular moisture needs.
