To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

How to Use Greenspire® Linden in the Landscape
This is an excellent street tree, with controlled growth. It needs almost no pruning once the branches have been raised up to the desired height.
Formal plantings can be planted in rows or blocks on large properties. Plant trees 20 feet apart on center, measuring from trunk to trunk. This application could also become an interesting backdrop on large commercial landscapes.
The small yellow flowers have a spicy fragrance and they bloom in early summer. Honeybees make 'Basswood' honey from the Linden flower. This is a valuable, high-end honey. Add this tree to hobby farms or homesteads.
#ProPlantTips for Care
Urban planners often use this tree in parks because of its adaptability to moist or dry soils. Drought tolerance increases as the roots become established after the first few seasons.
Until then, give young trees a moderate amount of water regularly. Protect your investment, especially if you have a long dry spell.
Any maintenance pruning is best done in late winter or very early spring before it starts to put on new growth for the season. There shouldn't be much call for the loppers, however, because of the superior form.
The only thing to watch for is this tree grows quite dense with a very formal outline. You may want to thin the crown as it develops by removing a few interior branches. You'll only need to do this if it looks like the branch spacing is a bit too tight.
