Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Bright orangy eyes against creamy white, the radiant sunny-side-up blooms of the Flower Record Daffodil (Narcissus 'Flower Record') will start your spring mornings off right! The large cupped Daffodil with a great contrast between its yellow trumpet and a warm orange edge, standing out against a pure satellite of white outer petals!

The gorgeous blooms are fragrant and feed early emerging pollinators and beneficial insects, creating vivid displays for all! Among the first to emerge after the snows recede, but they bloom a bit later in the spring to extend spring ephemeral flower party, with sweetly scented and brilliant blooms!

The long slender foliage of this Daffodil bulb variety, also known as Narcissus or Jonquils, these spring-flowering perennial bulbs are tough, cold-hardy, and perfect for both the new and experienced gardener! Versatile use and compact size, they're perfect for planters and containers, forced indoors for winter décor!

Planting and Application:

Daffodils are the perfect showy bloom to fill in the mid-to-late spring gap in flowering. These big cups and saucers do wonders as a border or as a mass planting. Filling in more and more each spring and naturalizing without needing much maintenance! Daffodils are extremely low-maintenance, plant-and-go style bulbs perfect for the lazy gardener!

Use these blooms indoors to perfume your spaces and in containers by forcing them for winter color. Growing outdoors, the sturdy stems of Flower Record Daffodils will add long-lasting delight to flower arrangements!

Plant rows or groupings throughout your landscape for a burst of early spring color! Enliven Cottage gardens, pathway borders, and throughout the rock garden! Brighten the fronts of evergreen hedges and foundation borders with the Flower Record's incredible blooms!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Daffodil bulbs are easy to care for! Plant 6-8 inches deep at least 3 inches apart with the pointed end facing upward in a full sun location. They must have well-drained soil and lots of sunshine all growing season. In colder zones, plant deeper and mulch well so they can survive the winter. Add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results. Deadhead after the flowers fade and wait to clean up the foliage until after it yellows in the fall so the leaves can make food for the bulbs.

When forcing bulbs indoors, or so they will bloom in the spring, these fall-planted bulbs need at least 6-8 weeks of Chill Hours to bloom. Trim the foliage back after it yellows in the late summer or fall after frost.

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade
  • Any Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs
  • Clean Foliage Away After It Yellows
  • Low Maintenance Perennial Bulb

Vivid sunny-side-up blooms, the Flower Record Daffodil will brighten your garden beds and borders, and indoor spaces, with fragrant radiance! Order now at Nature Hills and we'll ship your high-quality bulbs to your Hardiness Zone at the proper fall-planting time!
