#ProPlantTips For Care
Garnetta Hydrangea is best in full sun in the cooler growing zones of 3 up to zone 8. However, it does better with some afternoon shade during the worst of summer. Equally thriving in part sun to dappled shade as well.
Keep your garden gems healthy in organically rich, humus soil that is well-drained. Also able to tolerate saline conditions and less than optimal soil, Hydrangea are very resilient.
Water consistently and do not let dry out between waterings to establish, afterwards, Hydrangea enjoy average moisture. They greatly appreciate extra watering during the heat of summer.
Very cold resistant, Hydrangeas do benefit from a generous layer of mulch to better retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill.
Pruning is only necessary to remove winter dieback on this compact plant but if desired you can and should only prune in late winter or early spring before you see new growth. Blooming on new wood, this way you will not remove any of these amazing flowers!
Invincibelle® Garnetta Hydrangea will be just the ornament your garden needs! Sparkling lush pink gems like these hardy native plants add glitz to your outdoor spaces. Order your own from the Hydrangea experts at Nature Hills today!
