Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes

Growing Zones 8-10
A gorgeous blend of bloom colors, the Cyan Gladiolus Blend (Gladiolus 'Cyan') is a lovely mixture of white, plum, and pink hues! Each on its own vertical flowering spike of bold petals! Gladiolus are florists and pollinator's favorites, plus adding upright texture and waving wands of soothing purple hues!
Also known as Sword Lilies, these flowers are held aloft on strong stems, the alternating symmetrical blooms are backed by erect bright-green foliage that stays in dense clumps that bloom midsummer from space-saving perennial, flowering corms!
Cyan Gladiolus Blend bulbs are eye-catching corms, growing throughout USDA growing zones 8-10 as a hardy perennial bulb. The blooms also work as annual accents in all other growing zones. Northern growers can also dig the corms up in the fall once the foliage has yellowed and store them for the winter in a frost-free location.
Planting and Application:
Cyan Gladiolus Blend Gladiolias will attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. The big petals act as juicy landing pads for pollinators, while the clumps easily tuck these space-saving flowering corms into existing and established gardens! This gorgeous range of colors goes well with blues, pinks, white, and yellows in the garden!
Any garden becomes a cut flower garden with a few Gladiolas and you will love the tall, upscale bouquets and vase arrangements you'll create with these incredible, long-lasting blooms! These flower spikes can bloom for a couple of weeks! Want a longer display in the garden and more blooms longer throughout the summer? Plant your corms in spring, then plant more every two weeks for a staggered bloom all summer! Create drifts and rows in tight spots, groupings in corners, along paths, or against a fence line or rock wall for height and color!
- Combo of Purple Hues

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Gladiolus bloom best in full sun and partial shade in a protected location. For especially windy sites and especially tall stems, some staking is recommended to keep your blooms from flopping. Plant your corms in well-drained, organically rich soil that has moderate, consistent moisture.
Deadhead after the flowers fade and keep the leaves until they turn yellow to make food for the corms. In the fall, lift your bulbs out of the ground and store them in a nylon stocking or brown paper bag in a cool, dry location with good ventilation above freezing. Each year you'll notice more and more little corms forming around the base of the parent corm for more blooms each year!
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Organic Well-Drained Soil
- Deadhead After Blooms Fade & Prune or Dig in Fall
- Deer & Rabbit Resistant
The Cyan Gladiolus Blend adds luscious white, pink and purple hues and vertical interest to your garden! Sometimes it's difficult to choose a single color, but with this Gladiolas corm blend - you don't have to! Choose quality bulbs and corms from Nature Hills and we'll ship your plants right on time for planting in your growing zone!
