Blue Pacific Juniper is very hardy, adaptive to a variety of conditions, and especially heat tolerant. It's also quite resistant to winter injury. Doing amazingly well in full sun, Blue Pacific Juniper doesn't mind a little shade or even city conditions. Those blue-green needles will hold their color just fine. Not particular to soil type, any well-drained, sandy soils, even rocky or highly aerated soil will do Junipers just fine. Their bane is wet, soggy soil that will rot their roots.
