#ProPlantTips for Care:

Disease-resistant and overall hardy, Como Park Rose is a low-maintenance shrub that won't ask much of you in return for its glorious display. Como Park Roses need good air circulation and lots of sunshine. Look for a planting site that gets morning sun if possible, with at least six or more hours of full sun a day.

Well-drained soil drains quickly after rain, and keeps its root systems healthy. Create a raised bed, or planting mound if you need to improve drainage. Apply a moderate amount of water to keep the soil around your Roses moist. Add a three-inch layer of mulch to cut down on surface evaporation, but pull it back away from directly touching the stems.

Feed them in early spring and mid-summer with a slow-release fertilizer for flowering plants. Read the label for correct application rates. Rake up the fallen leaves in late fall, and bag them up, and remove them from the area. Prune all of the stems down to six inches each year in spring, just after the plants start to wake up.
