Sunlight: This perennial thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6 to 8 hours of direct light daily to produce its signature vibrant yellow blooms. While it can tolerate light partial shade, expect fewer flowers and a more "leggy" or stretched-out growth habit if it does not get enough sun.
Soil: Fireworks Evening Primrose prefers well-drained soil and actually performs better in lean, rocky, or sandy areas than in overly rich ground. If you have heavy clay, mix in some organic compost or fine gravel at planting time to improve drainage, as "wet feet" during the winter is the fastest way to lose this plant.

Watering Requirements
