Soil: These plants prefer rich, well drained soil that stays consistently moist but never soggy. If you have heavy clay, mix in organic compost to improve drainage, or add peat moss to sandy soil to help it hold onto the moisture these thirsty perennials crave.

Watering Requirements

During the first growing season, water your Foxglove twice a week to ensure the root system establishes deep in the soil.
