The needs of this durable perennial Sedum groundcover are blissfully simple!

Plant Prima Angelina Stonecrop only in full sun. They need at least six hours of bright sunshine a day to remain strongly colored and densely bunched. Don't overfeed this perennial and you actually want to avoid overwatering them. Keep the soil sharply drained and poor for best results. Even in thin, poor, rocky soil; these self-reliant plants will perform beautifully for you, year after year. Have rich garden soil? It's okay, they'll still be fine. Just add a few handfuls of sand or gravel while planting. Or...create a raised planting bed, if you need to improve your drainage.

So, these sturdy plants become fairly water-wise, but only after their roots are established in your soil. Give them regular water for the first year in your landscape. We recommend that you protect your investment with water during an extended drought. Container plants need a regular schedule of supplemental water, as well. Both in-ground and container plants appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch to keep their roots cool.
