This uniquely colored Peony is the result of a cross between woody tree Peony (Paeonia suffruticosa or P. suffruticosa x P. lutea or P. delavayi), and herbaceous Peony (P. lactiflora) It is part of a group of intersectional hybrids that is causing quite a stir.
Nearly transparent, clear white petals are delicate and ethereal. Each joins together in a burst of deep rosy-burgundy. The centers of each ruffled bloom are highlighted by a crown of golden anthers, creating a lovely glow from within!
