By placing an order with Nature Hills Nursery, you agree to these terms.
Plant Guarantee & Warranty
Growing & Glowing Guarantee (Free with Every Plant)
- Coverage: 45 days from delivery date
- What's Covered: Dead on arrival, shipping damage beyond normal transit stress, early plant failure due to quality defects
- Requirements: Follow proper planting and care instructions, contact us within 45 days at support@naturehills.com, provide photos of damaged plant and packaging
- Additional Fall Order Coverage: Nature Hills will extend the coverage for any order delivered after October 15 through May 1 of the following spring, to ensure that any issue that didn’t present itself before the plant goes dormant is still covered.
Your Options:
- Free replacement plant (we cover shipping)
- 100% store credit (recommended - fastest processing, no fees)
- Refund minus 25% administration fee (shipping costs non-refundable)
Optional Paid Warranty
- Coverage: Full year from delivery date
- Remedy: 100% store credit for planted, properly cared-for plants that fail after the 45-day guarantee expires
Not Covered: Normal shipping stress, improper planting, inadequate care, wildlife damage, weather extremes, pests, disease, chemical damage, planting outside recommended zones, or acts beyond our control.
Ineligible Products: Flower bulbs, annual plants, grass plugs, hard goods, gift cards, digital products, shipping fees, warranty purchases.
Orders & Cancellations
Cancellation Window:
- Allowed only before fulfillment begins (typically within 24 hours)
- 25% restocking fee applies where permitted by law
- No cancellations once fulfillment starts
Cancellation Options:
- Within 45 days: 75% refund or 100% store credit
- After 45 days: Store credit only
Order Changes: Minor changes may be possible before fulfillment begins. Contact customer service immediately at support@naturehills.com.
Returns & Refunds
Live Plants: No returns, exchanges, or delivery refusals accepted due to agricultural restrictions and perishable nature. Use our guarantee process instead.
Hard Goods: Returns accepted in original packaging for 75% refund (customer pays return shipping).
Important: All delivery issues must be reported within 3 days of delivery or guarantee coverage is void.
Shipping Policy
Delivery Times: 3-4 business days with tracking and weather protection
Weather Delays: Shipments may be delayed when temperatures are forecasted below 32°F or above 95°F to protect plant health.
Geographic Restrictions: Some plants cannot ship to certain states due to agricultural regulations. These will be noted during checkout.
Delivery Requirements:
- Provide accurate address (changes after processing incur fees)
- No P.O. Box deliveries for live plants
- Someone must be available to accept delivery
- Inspect packages immediately upon arrival
Shipping Costs:
- Under $50: $9.99
- $50-$99.99: $14.99
- $100-$149.99: $16.99
- $150+: $24.99
Customer Responsibilities
- Follow proper planting and care instructions
- Report issues within 3 days of delivery
- Accept packages (do not refuse delivery)
- Provide photos for guarantee claims
- Understand plant specifications before ordering
Discounts & Coupons
- Multiple coupons may be combined unless restricted
- Must be applied at purchase (cannot be added to existing orders)
- Exclude hard goods, grass plugs, warranties, and shipping fees
- No credit for unused portions
- We reserve the right to limit abuse and modify programs
Mobile Marketing
By opting in, you consent to receive automated marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Standard rates apply. Text STOP to opt out, HELP for assistance.
Quiet Hours: No messages 9 PM - 8 AM or Sundays before 12 PM (your local time).
Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Nebraska law. Disputes must first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation within 60 days. If unsuccessful, binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association applies. Small claims actions under $10,000 may be filed in your county or Douglas County, Nebraska.
Claims must be brought within one year where permitted by law.
Mobile Terms of Service

The Nature Hills Nursery mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Nature Hills Nursery (“Nature Hills Nursery”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Nature Hills Nursery’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Nature Hills Nursery through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Nature Hills Nursery. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to 82651 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Nature Hills Nursery mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
