• Sunlight: These lilies thrive in full sun, requiring at least 6 to 8 hours of direct light daily to maintain their sturdy stems and vibrant orange color. While they can handle partial shade, fewer hours of sun will result in less dramatic double-petal counts and slightly taller, "leggier" plants.
• Soil: Aim for rich, loose soil that drains as quickly as a colander to prevent bulb rot. If you have heavy clay, mix in plenty of organic compost or plant them in raised beds to ensure the roots never sit in stagnant water.

Watering Requirements

During the first growing season, keep the soil consistently moist, similar to a wrung-out sponge, to help the bulbs establish a strong root system.
