Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 10-11 or as an indoor plant
The multi-stem form of a Majesty Palm (Ravenea rivularis) is a gorgeous fine-textured Palm Tree with tall, upright fronds that fan out as they taper to a rounded end. These multi-stemmed forms create lovely bushy green vertical clumps that gradually open into an upright vase form.
These graceful arching fronds and their evenly spaced rows of slender leaflets look perfect for adding a tropical feel to porches and patios, indoors as houseplants or in an office area for an architectural accent. Best in locations with higher humidity and can be considered a plant for gardeners with higher plant experience, don't let that deter you from trying one! Taking a few extra steps in caring for these plants will result in a beautiful indoor accent, even for the beginner!
A tropical tree native to Madagascar, Majesty Palms can get quite tall in their native habitat, but your Palm will grow to a mature height of only 12-18 feet when indoors, however it can get to 40 feet tall in the outdoor landscape after many years). Opening to nearly 10-12 feet in width, but it can easily be controlled with pruning, and you won't need to do much of that - these are slower-growing plants that won't overtake their space!
Planting and Application:
Graceful and architectural specimens, the lovely green and the texture of these Palms make them ideal tall accents in an office environment and for dressing up a lobby where they can enjoy the filtered bright sunlight. In the home, these look great in sunny windows, sunrooms, three-season porches and anywhere they can enjoy a tall ceiling to really show their stuff!
Outside in the frost-free USDA growing zones of 10-11, these trees are showy tall accents and focal points for around the pool and as a fantastic front yard focal point where its fronds an arch up and over your front doors entry and walkways. Casting light shade over your bistro set and around seating areas, Palms are elegant additions anywhere! Northern growers can pot these plants into planters for summer porch and patio accents, bringing them indoors for the winter.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Majesty Palm loves full bright sunlight and can tolerate partial shade as well. Loving organically rich moist soil that drains well, indoor plants only need a couple of hours of sun and then bright indirect light for the rest of the day. Preferring a more humid environment, mist indoor plants often and increase their air humidity. It's important to keep them out of cold drafts. Clean the yellowing or broken fronds in late winter to early spring by trimming them off clean at the trunk of the plant.
