Expertly Crafted Rose Bush Trees

Our world-class Rose-growing team takes exceptional care with our gorgeous Rose bush trees. We select the hottest, most popular Roses on the market.

A Rose Tree is a Rose bush that has been grafted onto a central cane - called a Rose Standard. A straight, sturdy, trunk for height and stability so it will grow as a tree.

Typically, our team grafts these high-quality Roses onto a 2-3 foot tall standard. But we sometimes have small (Miniature) Rose Trees for sale too, so be sure to click each photo to read the details on our available inventory.

Over time, your beautiful Rose Tree will grow into a showy specimen. No one walks past a Rose Tree without stopping to take a good long look!

Rose Trees Are an Easy and Effective Way to Decorate Your Landscape

Rose TreePatios and Rose Trees are a match made in heaven. Grow yours front and center in a high-profile place to maximize your enjoyment.

Imagine a pair of cool-toned kisses of color flanking either side of your walkway. Jazz up your balcony or porch with a thrilling container.

Arctic Blue Floribunda Rose Trees elevate the experience of your entry. This generous Rose produces spicy-scented, iced-lavender blooms with a cool cream reverse. Put them to work for you, and you'll set the stage for a fun garden tour.

Even beginning gardeners can enjoy the health and vigor of Take It Easy Rose Tree from Nature Hills Nursery. How cunning to raise up the poised, pointed crimson petals with their hot pink reverse. You'll definitely lose yourself in the elegant heart of this Rose!

A Rose Tree will add color and structure to your landscape. It will look terrific on a patio or front porch because of its decorative tree-form to show off the fragrant blossoms.

Rose trees also make terrific centerpieces for a small garden. Try adding a layered effect with the incredible two-toned color of a Two-Fer Brilliant Pink Iceberg and Iceberg Rose Tree!

Let the perky tones of Hot Cocoa Rose Tree buds and blooms wake you up in the morning. You'll have plenty of blooms to snip for indoor arrangements, too.

Can I Keep a Rose Tree in a Container?

Yes! Our Rose Trees can be grown in oversized outdoor containers successfully for many years. This makes it easy to lavish your attention on this important accent!

But luckily, you won't have to spend much time maintaining them. The trick is to choose a pot that is at least 20 inches in diameter to give the rootball room to grow.

Ensure your pot has great drainage (you may need to drill a few more holes in the bottom). Keep it in a sunny spot and provide consistent water.

Rose Tree Care Tips InfographicYou might be amazed at how visually pleasing a collection of Rose Trees would be in your patio, balcony, or simply potted to add a tiered effect to a planting bed. Try a curve of three, five, or seven to create a charming garden feature!

Of course, you can also mix and match Rose Bushes with your Rose tree, many have matching shrub-forms for you to pair with your tree-form! Try an underplanting of Groundcover Roses for a picture-perfect arrangement of blooms, blooms and more blooms!

Rose Tree Care Tips

Get the look you want without the rigorous care of old-fashioned cultivars. We make it easy because we start with improved modern Rose Bushes.

The standard is nice and straight and grows into a durable tree. If you can, it's best to find a sheltered spot away from windy or highly exposed sites. You can also use our Dewitt Tree Support Stake Kit while your Rose Tree is young.

Full sun is best for Roses, and our tree form is no different. Plant Rose Trees where they receive at least six hours of sunlight a day, favoring the drying power of the morning sun.

Rich, well-drained soil is also important for this special plant. If your soil stays soggy after a rainfall, bring in additional soil for a raised bed or planting mound.

You'll know it's time to prune as your growing Rose starts to emerge from dormancy each year in early spring. Simply pull on your sturdy leather gloves to trim all the branches, leaving a 6-12 inch ball of stems each spring. The head will grow out evenly as the season progresses, once again producing a luxurious season of blooms.

Keep the top and the bottom balanced when pruning. Take your time and enjoy the process. It means spring is here once again.
