Black Eyed Susan as a Foundation Plant

No EXIF data is available

I was visiting our daughter in Iowa last week.  A few years ago she had started planting a couple of Black-eyed Susans every summer.  This process and growth has taken about 4-5 years and the end result is very eye catching.  As you turn the corner to enter her street, these yellow beauties just pop out and seem to say, "Look at me!"   She works full time and has a young family that keeps her busy, but she has discovered that this plant is quite manageable, easy-to-grow, and only needs regular waterings and plenty of sunshine.  The end result has been quite pleasing for her, and the neighbors!
