I have a question and hope to find an answer here. DH has a Rose of Sharon bush, we have had several years, and this year for the first time has put out 2 long and narrow growths about 12 inches long. Does anyone know what these are. We have never in all the years that we have had it have had this kind of growth. Sure would appreciate any ideas, or information. I have a picture, but can't post here.
