I have a question:...we are growing Chilli Plants at home, inside the house and in the garden. As we are growing several different varieties, my partner is very concerned about cross-pollination. He insists on keeping the windows closed, just in case some insect might fly in and cross-pollinate the Chilli Plants we keep indoors. Is he right to be so concerned? And will eventual cross-pollination alter the species? I have been unable to find any answers on this subject in any of my reference books, and I would very much appreciate some advice..... (so far, we have pollinated all our plants ourselves...)
Kind regards, Maria
