Can I just ask, what do you mean by Bio, when editing Profile?

Ah, ...and I was wondering,...how can you apply your signature to your Forum entries and comments?

Hi Maria,

The bio is just basically anything you want to share about yourself - your biography - that you want others to be able to see if they view your user profile.

I have currently disabled signatures on the forum, we did this to eliminate spammers from spamming their signature. Our community is currently in beta and we are working out the kinks, so enabling the signatures is something we will eventually do, once we are ready to come out of beta. 

Thank you for your reply and explanation, Shawn. I figured that the Bio meant exactly what you said, but I wasn't 100% sure. I will check it out in a minute...

As for the signature, I understand your concern for spammers and it's nice to know that you take precautions. I was only wondering, because it is given as an option, but it can't be applied.... so I was asking myself ...why...? Once again, thank you very much for answering my query and for explaining the circumstances.

I would like to add a bio, however, I am unable to locate any place in my profile to do it. Help! Also, how do I add an avatar?

Welcome to the community. You have actually uncovered a bug, we currently don't have the bio/avatar publicly available for some reason. We have reported it to our programmers and hope to have it fixed soon.

If you want, you can email me shawn(at)naturehills.com with the image you want to use and your bio and I can update for now, but again, we will fix this as soon as possible.

Shawn, thanks for the reply. So often one posts on a forum and gets no responses. I really appreciate your attention. I will happily wait awhile for the bug to be fixed and send you my avatar and bio if the programmers take too long.

 It's nice to know that there are folks actually looking after the site. Again, thank you.
