A tale of a sad hanging basket

My inlaws bought me a hanging basket this year.  It was really pretty and thoughtful.  But..... I went away for 3 weeks and my hubby was supposed to look after it.  I am sad to say that the poor thing looked about as sun burnt as you can get.  I was upset, but I forgave the man.  (I should also write another post about the state of my houseplants too!  LOL)

Was is salvageable?  It is often possible with some tender loving care to bring things back to life, although in my experience they never look quite as good afterwards.

sure sounds like something my husband would do.  i wouldn't be able to forgive him if he did anything to my house plants though.

Lol, I'm to blame for mine. I just forgot all about mine for about 2 weeks. I didn't go anywhere, I think I just fell a little lazy lol. But I brough tit back to life after a week of looking after it. Slowly feeding it water and being generous when it came to sunlight as well shade.

Thats just sad, just because it's a basket, you think that it can take care of it's self. Well thats what I thought, lol. Lessoned learned the hard way.
