we planted a weeping cherry in our front yard early this summer and now it seems like its wilting it gets plenty of water and all afternoon sun. can someone tell me if and what i should be doing to help my tree before it dies? the leaves are curling and turning brown in spots.we treated it for bugs a couple of months ago and there is no evidence of bugs present now. what should i feed it?

    Re: weeping cherry dying?

    Hi,

My husband noticed our tree looking the same way.  It had some small branches growing out of the main trunk of the tree; some were close to the roots and various places up to the main branches .  He said that these small branches were sapping the tree so he cut them off.  Our tree perked up and is doing good.  Maybe this helps.
