The calamondin's fruit is an excellent substitute for lemon. Best to add sugar if you plan to use it as a lemonade-like beverage.

I have had six Dolgo Crabapple trees for about ten years now. Their fruit is large, exceptionally beautiful and delicious. The native birds love them, our parrots love them, and we love them. Toss a bunch into your juicer and you'll be hooked on their tart yet sweet, full-bodied flavor.

This is a little odd I suppose, but my daughter is completing her Senior Art Portfolio and needs mature plants for the work. Preferablly a vegetable or fruit (strawberry?) which has lush vines and is about to bear fruit. DOes anyone know where these types of plants can be found?
