The Wojos Gem Periwinkle is known for its spreading form and is fast growing.  The foliage is creamy yellow edged in dark green.  They are a new selection of trailing vinca.  It is distinctly different from the Illumination vinca as it has larger leaves. It will spread out from 1 to 2 feet wide. Dry to moist soil is needed and it is a fast grower in full sun to partial sun.

It is hardy from zone 7 to 9 but can be hardy in zone 6 if well protected.  This is often used as a groundcover with its spreading habit.  They are often used to add interest along curbs, slopes, banks and walls.  It is pest and disease free.  In the warmer zones it is a herbaceous perennial and is an annual in colder zones.
