The Catalina Pink Torenia is a very versatile for your garden. If you have a lot of shade or partial shade, this is one of the best plants for your area. The flowers look similar to a Snapdragon with shades of pink and a yellow spot which gives them extra interest. They mature from 10 to 16 inches in height and will spread 8 to 10 inches wide. They look great as a groundcover, hanging baskets and in containers. Their form is mounding which gives it extra interest.
The Catalina Pink is heat and shade tolerant and will flower all season. You do not need to deadhead and it is very low maintenance. In the hot and windy weather they do need to be kept well-watered, but not to the point that the water is standing. It is hardy from zones 3 to 11. In zones 9 to 11 it can be a perennial and it is an annual in zones 3 to 8. This is a great "pink" flowering plant that you can enjoy all season long.
