Cucumis Marketmore 76 (USDA Organic) Cucumber, Cucumis sativus 'Marketmore 76'  is especially good for slicing.  Cucumbers are good in so many recipes as well as eaten fresh or preserved as pickles, sweet or sour!  Their size is 8-9 inches and they are long and slender.  They keep their green coloration throughout their growing season and can be harvested in 68-70 days from planting.  The Cucumis Marketmore will continue to bear for a long time. 

The Marketmore Cucumber is hardy from zone 3 to zone 9 and requires moderately moist well drained soil and full sun.  Afternoon shade will help if your climate has very hot summers.  You can grow them on trellises but it is not required.
