Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

The creamy two-tone spidery petals of the Siloam Dream Baby Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Siloam Dream Baby') have very fragrant lightly ruffled, creamy apricot petals with lilac ribs, purple-red eye-zones, and green throats! These might be smaller flowers but their sheer profusion of fresh blooms that arrive each day!

With dark green foliage that is graceful, strappy, and arching, Siloam Dream Baby will shoot up multiple scapes full of buds, blooming from May through July, and it is a definite hardy rebloomer! This vigorous perennial attracts pollinators and hummingbirds which are mesmerized by the petals sprinkled with diamond dust that sparkles in the sun! They'll certainly brighten up a bouquet!

These diploid perennials thrive throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9 and grow 30 inches in height when in bloom, and spread to 18 - 24 inches in width. These clumps are seldom bothered by pests or deer, and return year after year, getting bigger and better with each passing season!

Planting and Application:

These showy blooms are fantastic specimens and garden accents! They'll brighten the garden border, highlight pathways and walkways, soften a rock wall or fenceline, and dress up a tired foundation or evergreen hedge! Grouping and creating rows (both straight and winding) will grace any perennial bed or hardscape with the arching foliage!

Siloam Dream Baby Daylily is as perfect for small gardens and containers, as it is for mass planting and in en masse drifts! Either accent a small area or fill an entire hillside with these vibrantly hued blooms! The color will hold its own solo or turn heads either way!

Hardy enough to thrive in the pampered Cottage garden as well as the sunny Rock Garden, Daylilies look great in some seriously harsh conditions, and come highly recommended on firewise landscaping plans and for xeric gardens! All Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and Black Walnut tree juglone.

  • Creamy Apricot Blooms With Lilac Midribs, Purplish-Red Rings & Green Throats!
  • Fragrant Reblooming Daylily
  • Cut Flowers & Pollinators Galore!
  • Firescaping & Xeriscaping Bullet-Proof Perennial
  • Container Accents, Specimens, Groupings, Edging & En Masse Darlings

#ProPlantTips for Care:

This reblooming perennial Daylily will grow in almost any soil and prefers full sun. Plant in mulched garden beds with 3-4 inches of arborist bark chips and enriched well-drained soil for best results. Provide new plants with moderate moisture on a regular basis, but once established, Daylilies are drought and occasionally soggy soil adaptable.

Deadhead to encourage rebloom, then trim the entire scape to the crown of the plant once all the buds are spent to clean up the mound. In late autumn after frost, remove all foliage to the ground and dispose of it away from the site to prevent rusts and diseases from overwintering. Divide in early spring every 3-5 years to maintain vigor and flowering size.

  • Full Sun For The Most Blooms
  • Adaptable in Any Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture - Low Once Established
  • Prune Late Fall, Deadhead Regularly & Divide Every 3-5 Years
  • Seldom Bothered By Deer, Rabbits, Salt & Pests

Get the best of both worlds with the ruffled beauty of the hardy and adaptable Siloam Dream Baby Daylily today from Nature Hills!
