To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.
Ever wonder what a larger plant will mean for your landscape? Container Sizes are really all about the age of the plant!
Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

This incredible introduction sports one of the largest Coneflower blooms around! Hot Papaya provides a season-long colorful display of outstanding, two-toned, double-layered daisy-like flowers. You can't beat the intensity of this color, which will bring a brilliant show to a sunny location!
This Echinacea boasts large, two-toned, dark and light papaya-red and orangy-colored blooms! Instead of the usual Coneflower spikey domed center, Cone-fections™ Hot Papaya features a second layer of short, toothy ray petals for a unique flower! The deep orange-yellow central cone grows larger as the flower matures and rises higher as it opens!

Echinacea Hot Papaya is a full sun-loving herbaceous perennial. Any hot sunny garden plot is fantastic for these long-lasting blooms. Reaching about 3 feet in height at maturity, Coneflower forms dense clumps of mounded foliage that stays put where it's planted.
This tough plant is drought tolerant once established but will perform its best with medium moisture soil that drains very well. Use a raised bed, or grow them in containers if you have poorly drained soil that retains water for a long time. Not particular on soil type, any well-drained soil that's been enriched with compost and mulched is best. All plants appreciate being planted with Nature Hills Root Booster for life-long symbiotic root support, and a nice blanketing of 3-4 inches of arborist bark chips.
Hot Papaya usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve the general appearance. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall, their seeds provide winter food for birds. You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well because they will provide architectural interest in the winter. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded, about every 4 years.
This plant is deer and rabbit resistant so don't worry about planting this in out-of-the-way locations.
